Makeup is a personal thing and every bride has different requirements. For some, especially those who don’t wear much makeup day to day, or find more traditional forms of foundation too heavy on their skin, the search for a natural, flawless finish with a lasting result can feel daunting. This is where airbrushing comes in as an option for your wedding day makeup.
What is airbrushing?
Airbrushing is a silicone-based makeup that is applied by spraying the product through an air compressor. The weightless foundation then gently glides on to the skin as a micro-fine mist, creating a much more natural finish than other types of foundation. The look is effortless; creating a barely-there finish that’s flawless and still shows your skin without highlighting fine lines, wrinkles and pores.
Is airbrushing right for me?
Whether you prefer a semi-matte or matte look, the benefit of airbrush foundation is that it creates a canvas that offers sheer, buildable coverage that’s also hydrating and transfer and water-resistant – a must for your wedding day! The overall aim of this product is to deliver a less-is-more-makeup look, whilst giving more complete coverage than foundation applied with a brush.
I offer airbrushing as an add-on service to all my brides looking for a more natural foundation finish. The airbrush I use is cordless and easily portable on wedding mornings so if you’d like to consider this on your wedding day, tick the box when you make an enquiry.
